Siv Parker is Yuwallaraay, from the black soil plains of far north west NSW.
She crisscrossed Australia for thirty years working in Indigenous affairs, cultural heritage, media and the arts.

•  creator of Tweetyarns and experiments with Indigenous micro fiction using social media. 

•  joint winner of the 2014 Melbourne Writers’ Festival Blurb Blog to Book Challenge for her blog On Dusk:  a collection of essays, memoir, poems and short stories. 

Ondusk was selected for the National Libraries of Australia PANDORA archive in 2015 'as a blog of national significance.'

•  Won the David Uniapon Award 2012 for an unpublished manuscript at the Queensland Literary Awards
